Presented here is an extraordinary 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS, commissioned through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and believed to be the only GT2 RS finished in Ice Green Metallic. This highly individual specification is further elevated by an extensively customized Special Order CXX interior, creating a truly one-of-one configuration among an already limited population of cars.

Originally introduced during the golden era of Porsche's air-cooled 911s in the mid-1970s, Ice Green Metallic is one of the marque's most intriguing historic colors. In subdued light it reveals soft mint-green undertones, evoking images of a race car waiting silently in the paddock. Under direct sunlight, however, the paint transforms, taking on a distinctly silver appearance reminiscent of Germany's legendary Silver Arrow racing heritage. Few colors showcase Porsche's mastery of metallic finishes quite like Ice Green Metallic, and even fewer have ever graced a GT2 RS.

The truth of the story:
September 20, 2017. The Nürburgring Nordschleife. Cool, dry conditions set the stage for Porsche's ultimate test of the newly unveiled 911 GT2 RS. Armed with a 700-horsepower twin-turbocharged flat-six, race-bred aerodynamics, and relentless engineering, Porsche arrived with one goal: set a new benchmark for the fastest road-legal sports car on the planet.

The record to beat was 6:52.01 around the Nürburgring's daunting 12.8-mile circuit. When the checkered flag fell, the GT2 RS had shattered expectations, stopping the clock at an astonishing 6:47.3, averaging 114 mph around the world's most demanding racetrack and establishing a new production car lap record at the time.

Its performance credentials remain staggering today. Twin turbochargers force-feed the 3.8-liter flat-six to produce 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through Porsche's lightning-fast seven-speed PDK transmission. The result is a 0-60 mph sprint in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. Coupled with carbon-ceramic brakes, an adjustable motorsport-derived chassis, and aerodynamics capable of generating nearly 1,000 pounds of downforce, the GT2 RS represents the most extreme road-going 911 Porsche had ever built.
