1967 Porsche 910 Excellent documentation and provenance

This 1968 Porsche 910 is one of 27 coupes built during a single year of production and was purchased new by British privateer Bill Bradley, who campaigned it with factory support between 1968 and 1970. Chassis 910-020 debuted with a class win at Montjuïc Park to open a 1968 season that also included a class victory in the Solituderennen at Hockenheim with Porsche works driver Vic Elford at the wheel and an overall win in the Coupes de Salon at Montlhéry. The car opened 1969 by winning its class at the Spa 1000km, one of three top-four finishes in as many International Championship for Makes starts during the season. After a single race in 1970, the car was retained by Bradley until 1998, a span that included a refurbishment between the late 1980s and early 1990s. Under subsequent ownership, it was prepared for vintage racing before making regular appearances at vintage events, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival and the Le Mans Classic. The car was sold to a US owner in 2021 and later that year participated in the Piëch to Peak Colorado road rally and the Road Scholars Invitational at Road Atlanta. Finished in Grand Prix White with a pale blue dorsal stripe, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter Type 901/21 flat-six equipped with Bosch slide-valve mechanical fuel injection, twin-spark ignition, and dry-sump lubrication. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential, ventilated disc brakes, adjustable coilover suspension, 13” center-lock alloy wheels, fiberglass racing seats upholstered in red, and a six-point harness. This 910 is now offered with historical photographs, invoices dating back to the 2000s, an FIA/MSA Historical Technical Passport, and a set of spare wheels.

Chassis 910-020 bodywork was most recently repainted in Grand Prix White during a 2021 refresh by our team and also included repairs to cracks in the fiberglass, replacement of the plexiglass side windows, replacement of the targa panel seals and clamshell seals, and reapplication of a pale blue dorsal stripe. A clear protective wrap was applied in 2022. Features include faired-in headlights, dual side mirrors, an electrical cut-off switch, front and rear tow hooks, dual cookie-cutter exhaust outlets, Shell emblems on each front fender, and number-20 graphics. Tags at the front and rear of the car bear UK registration number TGC 497E, under which the car was registered for road use in the UK between 2006 and 2018.

Black-painted alloy wheels are secured by hexagonal nuts and are wrapped in Dunlop Racing CR65 tires that measure 4.75/10.00-13 up front and 6.00/12.00-13 at the rear. A spare set of wheels wrapped in Dunlop rubber is included in the sale. Stopping is handled by disc brakes with ventilated front rotors, front cooling ducts, and dual master cylinders.

The 2.0-liter Type 901/21 flat-six features dry-sump lubrication, twin-plug ignition, Bosch slide-valve fuel injection with individual fiberglass trumpets, and a nose-mounted oil cooler. Service performed by our mechanical team between 2021 and 2022 included replacement of the injectors, coils, spark plugs, battery, and voltage regulator.
