Completed at the Porsche factory on December 14, 1956, chassis 82812 is one of only 151 Carrera Speedsters ever built. Originally finished in Signal Red over Beige Leatherette, this car spent most of its life in California under the care of a skilled engineer who maintained it meticulously. During his ownership, the engine was disassembled for a rebuild and remained apart for decades, preserving the car’s originality.

Sold as a complete, numbers-matching example with its original parts, the current owner chose to preserve its authentic character rather than pursue a full cosmetic restoration. Instead, the drivetrain was entrusted to renowned four-cam specialist Jeff Adams of Speedsport Tuning for a comprehensive mechanical restoration. The result is a Speedster that combines irreplaceable originality—retaining its factory floor pans, matching panels, and period patina—with exceptional mechanical integrity. This rare blend of authenticity and expert engineering makes chassis 82812 one of the most compelling Carrera Speedsters in existence, offering unmatched presence.
