Great driver and very solid Speedster

Any 356 Speedster is an object of desire and even lust. But this one has particular charms. This 1955 Pre-A Speedster has spent the past 25 years with the same owner, tucked away in the Pacific Northwest. Long term ownership has give this car a consistent level of care and maintenance, and this is a big contributor to its overall quality. The paint remains excellent despite its 30+ year age. The body is exceptionally straight, with nice consistent gaps on the doors, and the front and rear deck lids. The car appears to have a portion of the front pan replaced and overall it is very solid. We just serviced the engine (it’s fitted with a 1956 Super) and it runs absolutely fantastically. The black interior and top have a perfect patina, and they remain in good condition, especially since it seems they, too, are more than 30 years old. Overall, this is a wonderful Speedster and it certainly is one to be enjoyed for many years, just as it sits right now. It’s simply a great Porsche to drive and desire.
