Concours: Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance

Car: 1960 Porsche 356B Super 90

With the very first 356B Super 90 ever made, Road Scholars was the proud recipient of Best In Class at the fourth annual Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance. We finished this restoration project in 2011 and it showed extremely well in a tough class, comprised of air cooled Porsche’s. During the weekend of events, we also coordinated the logistics of a special four cam Porsche display, presented by the Ingram Collection.

Blending the history, heritage and grandeur from three of North Carolina’s proudest traditions – motorsports, golf and military – The Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance is a unique celebration of America’s passion for the automobile and recognition of the brave men and women who protect and provide the very freedom that we enjoy.
